Originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, multi-instrumentalist Kemble Walters landed on US soil in 2000. His musical career started in the mid 90’s as the drummer for local Indonesian punk band FlipOut. During his time with the band until graduation, he helped the band gain famed local success including local MTV and major festivals. In 2000 Kemble Walters moved to Austin, Tx and helped out local legends the Impossibles (Fueled by Ramen) on drums for the final tours. Kemble then joined soon to be local hardcore royalty The Rise (Ferret Records, Law of Inertia). The Rise released 2 full length albums and toured extensively along side GlassJaw, Snapcase, Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge while in talks with Ric Rubin label American Recordings. The band called an indefinite hiatus after a few years as the gear was stolen numerous times and the members wanted to explore alternate musical identities.

Kemble put the drums on hold and switched to guitar and vocals for Austin band Vise Versa (I Surrender Records) which released one ep and toured with label owner Rob Hitt’s band, Midtown. During this process meeting former Juliette Lewis music manager, Jay Parkin, he was scouted to join her upcoming act Juliette & the Licks (Hassle Records, Fiddler Records, the Militia Group). Due to Vise Versa’ internal problems, Kemble packed up and flew to Los Angeles and started the group with Juliette Lewis.

During the time of Juliette & the Licks, Kemble co wrote & produced two full length albums along side his band members. The last record, Four on the Floor had guest drummer Dave Grohl on the record. The band quickly gained European success hosting the Europe MTV Music Awards in 2006, playing Foo Fighters notorious Hyde Park show (90,000 ppl ++) along side Motorhead and Queens of the Stone Age. The Licks toured all major festivals (Leeds, Reading, Pukelpop, SXSW and many more). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juliette_and_the_Licks

Kemble left the Licks in 2008 to pursue the engineering side of music. He went to the Musicians Institute for their Recording program in 2009 and graduated later that year. This lead to producing, songwriting, mixing and mastering for many artists world wide. He has been the Songwriter for movie producer Stacy Ray, mastered the Slovenian act Banditi latest release, tracked drums for the song “Taraxis” for the upcoming PELICAN ep “Ataraxia/Taraxis” at the Closet LA, done countless artist development workshops and band/artist consulting.
During this time he started LA rock band vOLUMe in which he was introduced to current business partner Phil Buckman. vOLUMe was frequently featured on KROQ via Kat Korbett’s Locals Only radio show. During this time the band Petty Cash (featuring most Juliette & the Licks members alongside Phil Buckman) were playing Johnny Cash and Tom Petty covers for fun with guests such as P!NK, Deryk Whibley, Avril Levigne, Butch Walker, A.Jay Popoff and many many more. In late 2011 Kemble Walters rejoined Juliette Lewis, Linda Perry and Dave Grohl on guitar for Juliette’s upcoming album (release date TBD).

Kemble current project “ÆGES” ( facebook.com/aegesband ) has released tow records via the Mylene Sheath “the Bridge”, released April 17 2012  (written, produced, recorded and engineered by Kemble Walters at Canshaker studios and mixed by Kemble at The Closet LA (www.facebook.com/canshaker) and “Above & Down Below” “writtend by ÆGES, produced and tracked by Kemble at the Soundportal, Mixed/Mastered by Matt Hyde). ÆGES is currently signed to Another Century / Century Media Records for their third record which will be released early 2016 and they will be joining TOOL and PRIMUS for the Halloween Monster Mash festival to a sold out 25,000 person venue in Tempe, AZ in 2015. Kemble is also back in the studio with his former band Juliette & the Licks working on new material at Dave Grohl’s studio 606. While not on the road with his bands (ÆGES or the Licks), he is either out as a hired guitarist/drummer, performing with his band PETTY CASH (which features members of the LICKS and includes guest appearances from P!NK, Butch Walker, Hayley Williams and many more) or producing, songwriting, and mastering records for artists and labels from around the world.
